Practice : Numbers 1-100

Let’s warm up with numbers in Hungarian!
You’ll see 10 numbers between 1 and 100. Type how you would read them out in Hungarian.
Still learning the numbers? No worries! You can switch the setting: try reading the Hungarian spelling first and write the correct number next to it.

Feel free to ask for new round as many times as you can do with some practice! (Or check out other sheets about numbers.)

🧠 Translate the numbers

I bet you’d love to try taking notes of a few (fictive) phone numbers now — wouldn’t you?

Listen to them one by one and write down the numbers you hear. (Don’t add spaces between the numbers, just write them continuously.)
You can listen to the numbers as many times as you like before you submit and check your answers.

Remember: Hungarians like to say phone numbers in blocks rather than reading them digit by digit. It makes them feel like there are fewer numbers to remember!

Did you like math at school? No big deal if you didn't — this won't give you a headache. It's just a bit of plus, minus, equals… and all you have to do is say the result in Hungarian.
Ready? Let's go!

PatchPhrasing

When you don’t yet have enough vocabulary or grammar to speak fully in your target language, try PatchPhrasing.

It means you speak in your native language — but replace any word or phrase you do know (or are just learning now) in the target language.

This helps you learn in context and understand the function of the word (e.g. noun, verb, tense, etc.).

Example:
“I want a piros sports car. Sooo piros like a ripe cherry.”
(piros = red — but I think you guessed that.)

It’s fun, flexible, and builds real fluency — one word at a time.
